RETURN OF THE TEDDYBUGS

Don't be a scaredy-bug!
Come to my show!!

Be scared.
Be very, very, scared.

The Teddybugs are coming!

Fine artist Jason Howe heads south, from Sydney to Melbourne, bringing a selection of his benign & whimsical characters with him.

Splashed with loose, serene, abstract & cloudy backgrounds, the toon like Teddybugs conjure, create, meditate and point you on a journey through the fine art world of the cartoon!

Jason has been painting & drawing for almost 20 years, being influenced by cartoons and animation & was enamored by the canvases of New York pop surrealist artist Kenny Scharf.

After completing certificates & diplomas in fine arts, Jason has been showing his work in universities, artist run galleries and cafes in Sydney & Wollongong for the past 10 years and is an original member of Sketch the Rhyme, collaborating with other artists, freestyle rappers and live band to create a dynamic, improvised live show.

The Teddybugs are after revenge from what exactly?

Are the Teddybugs to go the way of the elves & fairies?

Come to At Large Gallery between the 4th & 20th of December & find out for yourselves!!
